Mary A. Lemieux

Mary A. Lemieux went to be with her beloved husband, Roland, on January 6th.

Born in Providence, Mary was the daughter of the late Gioacchino and Antonetta (Scivetta) Giannini, and was predeceased by her sister Filomena.

A lifelong Providence resident, Mary enjoyed a career of over 50 years with Providence College, which she loved, retiring only a few years ago

Mary is survived by her daughter Annette and her fiance Joseph Almeida Jr,, her son Roland with whom she lived, and her daughter Jacqueline  Lemieux-Bokor and husband Gregory of La Jolla California.

Mary adored and lived for her grandchildren Quinn, Charlotte and Colin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday, January 14th at St. Pius Church 240 Eaton Street, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Pius Church and school, this church was her second home. Due to Covid, a celebration of her life will be at a later date.
