Nilda Padilla Cantres

Nilda Padilla Cantres, 77, of Providence, passed away on Saturday November 11th, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Bayamon, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Leocadio Padilla Remigio and Julia Cantres Padilla.

She is survived by a daughter, Maria Lugo; two grandchildren, Yomari Lugo and Jose Lugo; four great grandchildren, Joniel Mercedes, Iyaniz Garris, Jose Lugo, Jr., and Katalaya Lugo; a brother Felipe Padilla; and seven sisters, Elizabeth Reyes, Carmen Padilla, Maria Padilla, Ada I Padilla, Julia Mercedes, Vilma Padilla, and Nereida Flores.

Visiting hours will be at the Evangelica Vison Church, 1014 Broad Street, Providence, Thursday November 16th from 9:00 am -10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.
