Pasquale Pollastro

Pasquale Pollastro, 56, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, November 11th, after his courageous battle against cancer surrounded by his family.  He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Murphy) for 26 years.

Born in Caserta, Italy, he was the only son of Michele and Marie (Natale) Pollastro of Providence.

Mr. Pollastro was employed by the ELJ Construction Company in Bristol.

He was very proud of his Italian heritage. He enjoyed good food, music, dancing, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Pasquale could always be counted on to be the life of the party. One of his greatest joys was taking afternoon naps with his beloved cats Frick, Frack, and Sky.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by the love of his life, Madison L. Pollastro; a sister Anna Santoro; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, on Wednesday from 10 am- 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm.  Burial will be private. Relatives and friends attending will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL), 34 Elbow St. Providence, RI 02903.
