Paula A. Verrecchia

Paula A. Verrecchia (Mercurio) 61 of North Providence passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Michael W. Verrecchia. They were happily married for 32 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Balillo and Margaret (Grimes) Mercurio. Paula was a phlebotomist for Women’s Surgical on Atwells Avenue for many years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving son Jason Mercurio and a devoted brother Richard Mercurio and a sister Marie J. Fratantuono. She is also survived by her cherished grandson Giovanni Mercurio. She was the sister of the late Christina Mercurio. Visitation Monday, October 7th 9-10:15am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.
