Obituary

 

Ralph V. Anderson, 82, of Providence passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.  He was the beloved husband of Joyce Marie (Martitz) Anderson. They were happily married for 41 years (together 46 years).

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph Anderson and Catherine Perry Vieria. He was the stepson of the late Ruth Anderson.

He was a loving and giving husband. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, friends and family he was an avid fisherman, member of the NRA and did competitive shooting for RI. He loved playing the key board and guitar and telling jokes, dancing and dining out.  

He was president and owner of A to A Network, INC, he had been employed by Speidel for 21 years, Bioprocess Technologies, and F. G. Lees & Son, INC.  He is also a Veteran and served in the Coast Guard.

He is survived by his loving son, Ralph E. Anderson and his companion Pamela Walker; cherished grandchildren, Makayla Anderson and her companion Joseph Masood, Nicholas Anderson and their mother, Holly Anderson.

Ralph is also survived by his brothers and sisters, William Anderson and his wife Sandra, Gloria Dukes and Jacqueline Flynn, his sisters-in law, Carol Anderson, Dorothy Anderson and many nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Ralph was the grandfather of the late Tyler Anderson, brother of the late James, Barbara, Joseph Anderson and Theresa Young and her husband Calvery.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 18th at 11:30am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
