Ralph Mellor

Mellor, Ralph D. passed away on June 20, 2018, at RI Hospital with his loving wife by his side.

He was the husband of Frances (Downey) Mellor.  They celebrated their 52nd anniversary in May.  Born in Providence he was the son of the late Joseph and Willette (Hayman) Mellor.

Ralph was employed by the State of RI at CCRI for many years before retiring in 2016. Ralph was loved by all that knew him.

Besides his wife he is survived by a brother Kenneth P. Mellor and his wife Rita, and a sister Judith A. Mellor.  He also leaves his beloved dog and cat, Milo” and “Ellie.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at 8:45 AM from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St. Providence.  Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning 8:45 – 9:30 AM.  Burial will be private.
