Regina “Jeannie” Espinosa (Leonardo), 78, a resident a Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Dupuis) Leonardo.
Regina spent her career working in the jewelry industry for many years. She loved to spend time with her family, and friends. As a single mom of three children, she was a strong independent role model. Along with her children, she adored her grandchildren, and great grandson. She loved to teach them new things and watch them grow. Regina loved to sing, and was always full of life. Her fondest memories of travel was her time in Hawaii, and the memories that made her smile to this day.
She is survived by her loving children, Joseph Espinosa, Theresa Vilardofsky and Dawn Espinosa. She is also survived by a brother, Pasco Leonardo; cherished grandchildren, Barry Vilardofsky, Jr., Andrea Vilardofsky and Angelina Espinosa and a dear great-grandson, Christopher J. Wood. She was the sister of the late Rose Bythrow, Rita Souza and William J. Leonardo.

Visiting hours will be Friday, November 20th from 9-10am followed by a service at 10am at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
