Regina R. Sowah

Regina Sowah of Providence passed away on January 11, 2022. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Karlise Morgan and Prudencio Moret Texidor.

Regina was a graduate of CCRI and worked as a CNA for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with family. Regina was always the life of the party. She was also always willing to lend a helping hand.

She is survived by seven sisters Yvonne Morales, Rhoda Morgan, Adriana Dasilva, Elsie Capo, Chryssa Varella, Angela Hawthrone, and Theresa Harvey. Ten Brothers Marvin Rogers, Roland Morgan III, James Jennings, Primo Harvey, John Harvey, Mark Harvey, Jose Capo, Jumel Varella, Kenny Hawthorne and Peter Hawthorne. She was the sister of the late Levon Morgan Sr, Karlise Bailey Morgan and Joseph Jones.

Regina also leaves to mourn 7 God Children, 17 nieces, 18 nephews and a host of family and friends. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Monday January 24, 2022, at A.A Mariani & Son Funeral Home 200 Hawkins Street Providence R.I. 02904. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM with her funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence following the services. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
