Richard Alan Carter

Carter, Richard A. 57, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2019. Richard was the son of the late Dr. Jerry Carter and Dolores (Ryland) Carter born in Queens, New York on August, 8th 1962.

The loved ones survived by him include his wife Audrey (Phelan) Carter, two daughters Jade Traore and Devon Carter, as well as 3 beautiful granddaughters. A jack of all trades, Richard was a painter, handy man and business owner for many years. He had an infectious laugh that you never forget and he had the ability to make anyone feel like a old friend. He was an amazing father, avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan, animal lover, prankster, and always the life of a party.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 4, 2019 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the A.A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home 200 Hawkins St. Providence  followed by a Funeral Home Service at 7 P.M. Burial will be private.
