Robert Croce, 75, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday July 22, at his daughter’s home in Cumberland. He was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Dasco) Croce for almost 50 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ernest and Anna (Grossi) Croce.
He was the owner of J.L.C. Imperial Board. In his spare time he went boating, a hobby he enjoyed for over 30 years.
Besides his wife he is survived by five children, Jodi Olson and her husband Joey, Kerri Martin and her husband Tim, Kimberly Romano, Michelle D’Ordine and her husband Robert, and Robert D. Croce and his wife Karyn; seven grandchildren, Corey Votta, Ashlee Martin, Alexandra D’Ordine, Katherine D’Ordine, Reece Bailey, Emma Croce, and Jacob Croce; two great-grandchildren, Kenny Votta, IV and Alyssa Votta; a sister Cheryl Anderson and her husband Rick; and a brother Michael Croce; his many nieces and nephews; as well as his dogs, Sunny and Biscuit; and his furry grandkids, Louie, Cleo, Sushi, and the late Diesel Olson.
He was the grandfather of the late Kenny Votta, III, and brother of the late Ernest Croce and Eileen MyCroft.
Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Tuesday 9:00 am – 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of RI, 1017 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914.
