Robert E. Luminello, Sr., 95, of North Providence, passed away Monday May 30th. He was the beloved husband of the late Angela (Boscia) Luminello.
Born in Providence, he was the youngest child of the late Thomas and Stephana (Bouchard) Luminello, and was predeceased by his siblings, Raoul, William, Lillian, and Beatrice.
Following his service in the U.S Marine Corps, Robert was employed as a Driver Salesman for Harvest, Tip-Top, and Nissen bread companies for many years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bouffard Council# 2965, and also Country View Golf Club. In his spare time he truly enjoyed playing golf and dining out.
He is survived by two children, Shirley Voller and her husband Kenneth and Robert E. Luminello, Jr. and his companion Lisa Yacino; three grandchildren, Kenneth Voller, Melissa Paliotta, and Jason Voller; and three great-grandchildren, Giuliana Voller, Santino Paliotta, and Emelia Paliotta.
Visiting hours will be Monday, June 6th at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, 9:00 -10:15 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Presentation Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
