Robert Anthony Roselli, 91, of Providence, passed away Friday.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Bartolomeo and Clara Roselli.
E graduated from St. Ann’s School, Hope High School, and the RI Radio Electronic School in Providence.
He was employed as a tool inspector at Sealol, Inc. in Warwick, retiring in 1992.
He loved to travel going to Europe, visiting Italy, France, and Portugal, as well as other destinations including: Mexico City and Arizona. In his spare time, he volunteered at Amos House for 29 years and also the American Cancer Society for over 5 years. His hobbies included; joining a bowling league where he bowled for the Kent County Hospital Team for many years and playing golf. Another activity he loved was going to New York City to see operas performed at the Metropolitan Opera House, something he did for 20 years.
He was the brother of the late Nicoletta Roselli, Virginia Winters, Salvatore, Nicholas, Guido, and Benjamin Roselli.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The funeral will be 9 am Tuesday from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are Monday, 4 - 6 pm. Face Masks are required.
