Robert Sepe “Bob” 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Hope Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Imondi) Sepe. They were happily married for 49 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Antoinette (Portanova) Sepe. In February of 1966 Bob joined the Airforce and served during Vietnam he was stationed in Minot, ND. He served in Thailand and was discharged in 1969. While working full and part time, he attended Johnson & Wales University, graduating in 1976 with a BS in management and accounting. Bob was owner and operator of Prime Temporaries.
Bob was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in North Providence and had been a CCD instructor for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved imparting his words of wisdom to them. His favorite pastimes were watching westerns and eating anything chocolate, especially ice cream
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Carla M. Sepe and David J. Sepe and his wife Paulette; brother of Donald (Susan) Sepe, Cheryl Duke, Deborah Sepe, Michael (Nancy) Sepe and Antoinette Andruchuck; and brother-in-law of Lorraine Albanese; the cherished grandfather of Mia Morales, Gian Geruso, Cameron Geruso and Mateo Morales. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carmine Sepe Jr. and brother-in-law of the late Pasco “Butch” Albanese.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, December 21st at 9:45am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7pm.
