Rose Box (Geramma) 97, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Guerino Box.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rosaria Geramma.
Mrs. Box graduated from St. Joseph’s School of nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Jane Brown Hospital until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving sons, Louis A. Box and his wife Elizabeth and Guy Box and his wife Karen. She is also survived by a sister, Ann Thacker of Florida; granddaughters, Melissa Iamarone, Jennifer Pavao, Stephanie Simmons and Madeline Rachel Box and great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Anthony and Zackary Iamarone, Gabriella and Dylan Pavao and Charles and Benjamin Simmons and a brother-in-law, Dr. Joseph Box. She was the sister of the late John Geramma.
Her funeral and burial are private.
