Ruth Tomaselli

Ruth Tomaselli, 92 of Providence, passed away Monday May 30th, with her daughter by her side.  She was the wife of the late William Tomaselli.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Silvio and Flora (Carbone) Capobianco.

Ruth’s passion in life was making sure everyone felt special. She loved making people happy and keeping them well fed.  Her family, including her nieces and nephews, were central in her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Tomaselli; and two grandchildren, Brittany Ransier and Krista Ransier.  She was the mother of the late Dennis Tomaselli, and sister of the late John Capobianco, Mario Capobianco, Angelina Eduardo, Elizabeth Longo, Inez Morse, and Olga Albanese.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, June 6th at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence.  Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
