Sandella “Connie” Pendleton (Santaniello), 94 of Lincoln passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Pendleton.
Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni “John” and Therese (Mancini) Santaniello.
Connie was a talented seamstress for many years before losing her eyesight in the 1960’s, after which she became a dedicated homemaker. Her greatest attributes were her deep Catholic faith and her love of family.
She is survived by her loving sisters, Ida Britto, Jeana Aniello and Dorothy Young, and a sister in-law, Anna Santaniello. She is also survived by nieces and nephews to whom she was like a second mother, Connie McClurg, Wallace Young III, Allison Supple, and Jeffrey Young, as well as many other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late, Lena and Anna Marsella, Amelia Matiello, Edith Barbeiri, John and Albert Santaniello.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 9-10:30am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
