Sherbert M. Maddox “Strawberry” 40, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Sherbert J. Perez and the late Charlie Porter. She was the stepdaughter of James Peeler.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her loving daughter, Shynique Maddox; devoted siblings, Manny Pona, Dorothy Pona, Nakia Maddox, Deshana Maddox and Marcus Multon; a uncle, Marvin “Putty” Maddox and her godmother, Eleanor Depina “Snead” and several godbrothers, godsisters and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Denard Walker and granddaughter of the late Sherbert Maddox.
Visiting hours will be Monday, March 28th from 9:30am-12pm followed by a service at 12pm in the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
