Stephen G. DeNofa

Stephen G. DeNofa, 68 of Providence passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Hope Hospice. Born in Pawtucket, he was the only child of Alice (St. Pierre) DeNofa and the late George DeNofa. He was the husband of Carol (Nanni) DeNofa.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Stephanie Paquette, Angela Vieira and her husband Michael and Pamela Lopes and her husband Brian.  He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Tina, Jennifer and Amy Vieira, Isabel Lopes, Jonathan J. Conway, Nathan Paquette, Jackson Conway, Zachary Paquette and Victoria Lopes. He was the father in-law of the late Jonathan Conway.

Stephen was an avid outdoorsman. In his free time, Steve could be found fishing off Cape Cod or deer hunting in Foster or Gloucester. Steven was involved in archery clubs and fishing associations throughout his life.  His later years were spent supporting his grandchildren in their various endeavors. He could be found at football fields, local fairs or sportsmans’ events. 

Visiting hours Tuesday, October 9th from 4-7pm at A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 10th 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
