I'm sorry for your loss. Mere words cannot convey the overwhelming feelings of shock, disbelief, numbness, and despair that can result from such tragic, unexpected losses. However, even when the death of a loved one is expected, as might be the case after a long illness, grief can still be very intense. No one is ever totally prepared for the death of a loved one. At such times, we need to go to God’s Word for comfort. Revelation 21:4: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
