CIMINI, Thelma Lee

(Thornhill)

90, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018. She was born in Central Falls, the loving wife of the late Vincent Cimini of North Providence and daughter of the late Wilfred and Louise (Robillard) Thornhill.

Thelma, a lifelong Pawtucket resident, is survived by her loving children, Vincent and Carole (Smith) Cimini of Greenville, Carol and the late Donald Lescault of Mapleville, and Cheryl Cimini and wife Laurie Alviti of Cumberland. She was the sister of Robert Thornhill and wife Anita of Lincoln and was pre-deceased by siblings Doris Menard and husband Walter, Wilfred Thornhill and wife Ann, and Gerald Thornhill.

She was the beloved, doting nana of six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren whose photos she always kept in view and proudly showcased to all new acquaintances. She also leaves behind dozens of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Thelma enjoyed life, cooking for family, and tending her gardens. She was a devout Catholic and longtime Eucharistic Minister at St. Maria Goretti Church in Pawtucket where she was engaged in numerous parish functions and fundraisers.
