William E. Sanita, Jr.

N. PROVIDENCE- William E. Sanita, 73, of Providence, passed away after a valiant battle with brain cancer, on Friday, May 29, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of his family. He was the devoted husband to Barbara Ann Janson.

Born on March 6, 1947, in Providence, he was the loving son of the late William E. Sanita, Sr. and Antonietta (Linardo) Sanita.

A hard-working man, Bill worked as a computer programmer for many years, until his well-deserved retirement.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Presentation Church in North Providence.

Bill was a member of the Rhode Island Chevy Association and Lefoyer Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Wayne E. Sanita of Warwick, Mark Sanita and wife Georgette of Rehoboth, and Brian Sanita and wife Melissa of North Attleboro; his step-children: John Maccarone of Tiverton and Michael Maccarone of Dighton and Renee Doyle of Georgia; his 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his brother, Peter Sanita; and also many extended family member and friends.

Services will take place privately.
