My Grandma Winnie was by far the most loving, charismatic, thoughtful, wise, independent, fashionable, and inspiring women. She was gracious, honest, a true leader, and warrior. I miss her each and every day that passes. Some of my most happy memories were with her. I wish I had taken the time to visit her prior to losing her. I often regret those last years not taking the time to visit. She was one of the only people in my life that made me feel so unconditionally loved, accepted, wanted, and cared for. I truly miss getting her birthday and Christmas cards each year. I still where her jewelry to this day. I will forever cherish her memory, and only hope to be as wonderful of a grandmother as she was. I love you forever Grandma, and until we meet again.

Dear Henry and Susan and your respective families,
I am so deeply saddened to learn of Mrs. Tamke's passing. I was very fond of Winnie, and of Mr. and Mrs. Stone, when I was growing up.
My mother, Elizabeth D. Wyle, passed, at age 96, on 03/10/2015, in upstate New York, where Barry and I live.
Blessings to you both, and to your respective families.
Love,
Dian

Aunt Winnie was a great friend and sister-in-law to my Mother. We have fond memories of seeing Aunt Winnie every summer when we came to vacation in Rhode Island. She will be missed.

Our sympathies to your family. I remember Mrs Tamke well from her days at the Miriam. She was always a great support to her nurses, and a wonderful friend to my mom, Avis. Another angel has gotten her wings.
