Yolanda Badillo

Yolanda Badillo, 85, of North Providence, passed away Thursday September 7th, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Ramon Osorio.

Born in Colombia, she was a daughter of the late Julio and Elisa (Orozco) Badillo.

She enjoyed knitting and was a very social and compassionate person who enjoyed being in the company of others and making them laugh.

Se is survived by six children, Luz Marina Castrillon, Guillermo Osorio, Carlos Osorio, Ramon Osorio, Gloria Osorio, and Javier Osorio; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Gabriel Badillo. She was the sister of the late Javier Badillo and Guillermo Badillo.

Her funeral will be 8:45 am Monday September 11th from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the Church of St. John the Baptist, 69 Quincy Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Sunday, September 10th, 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
