Tyrone J Borden " Ty " 72 of North Providence passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 21,2017. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Fabiano) Borden. They were married for 53 years. He was the loving father of the late Annie Borden, Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Norman and Agnes (Petrone) Borden.
Ty was an avid Yankees fan, and also loved spending time with his children and Grandchildren. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Colleen Bailey and her husband Brian, Rhonda Sansone and her husband Gary, Cindy Borden and his son Tyrone Borden and wife Brenda. He leaves three brothers, Ronald, Eric and Johnny Borden and sisters Linda Giaccarini, Dale DeFreitas and Debra Karlowski. He is survived by his 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Milton Borden and Joyce Monahan.
His funeral will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10am from AA. MARIANI & SON FUNERAL HOME, 200 Hawkins St. Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Presentation of Blessed Virgin Mary Church 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, Visitation Sunday 4-8.
