To the Del Ricci family,
I was glad I was able to make it to the wake to pay my last respects to Mrs. Del Ricci. I will never forget that she would always remember the names of her customers as they came through the door to pick up their orders for Pizza. It great seeing her around town too. She will be missed. To her family remember she will always just be in the next room. It's hard, I know, to loose a mother, but try to remember the memories that you all made together.
Love Valerie

To the family of the late Doris DelRicci
It is with great sadness to hear the news about the passing of one of the sweetest women in North Providence, Doris DelRicci. For years growing up it was a Sunday ritual to order pizza from Twins with my grandfather. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile and deep concern of how the family was. As she new everyone like family, Doris would say, "order for Vallee." I was amazed on the countless trips made to Twins on how she always ran a tight ship. She was on the ball with everything from taking orders at the counter to the 5 star service of hospitality at the restaurant. She was ALWAYS there to ensure everything was right and if it was not right, she would be sure the order was corrected.
For almost 40 years there was a rare occasion that Doris was not there. If she was not there I would always ask how is MOM doing???? She is good, just gone for the day. Always with a smile on her face, even if she was having a really difficult day, she never expressed it to her customers.
Sadly Just a few weeks ago I was there with Deacon Vani from Presentation Church and he said to me, since Im clergy Doris usually gives me a discount. Well low and behold she indeed gave him a discount. I am saddened now though as that was the last time I will ever see her again. She was the icon of the best pizza restaurant in Rhode Island. Having cousins in North Attleboro, they would always make the trip down for the best pizza, crossing the border from MA to RI.
On behalf of my pastor, Rev Ed Cardente, Deacon Louis Vani of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church St Anthony Church in North Providence and St Edward Church, in Providence, we extend our warm and heartfelt sympathies to all the DelRicci family during this most difficult time. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. She will never be forgotten and may she REST IN PARADISE with your beloved husband, Leo and your son Jeffery.
A FALLEN LIMB
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again

We were all saddened to hear of the passing of Doris. The DelRicci family were pillars of the community and supported so many! We were honored to be in their presence for many years at community events and fundraisers. We were grateful for their support and we enjoyed taking our family to their wonderful Twins Pizza. Our heart goes out to the entire family.
